Mientras comía, un perro pequeño se acercó y la miró con ojos muy grandes. Movía la cola lentamente.
Valeria se rió. “¿Tienes hambre?” preguntó. Partió un pedacito de su pan y se lo dio. El perro lo comió feliz.
Un minuto después, llegó el dueño. “¡Ah, aquí estás!” dijo. “Gracias por cuidarlo.”
“No hay problema,” dijo Valeria. “Es muy simpático.”
El dueño sonrió y se llevó al perro. Valeria terminó su almuerzo tranquila y contenta por la pequeña visita.
While she was eating, a small dog came close and looked at her with big eyes. It wagged its tail slowly.
Valeria laughed. “Are you hungry?” she asked. She broke a little piece of bread and gave it to the dog. The dog ate it happily.
A minute later, the owner arrived. “Oh, there you are!” he said. “Thank you for watching him.”
“No problem,” Valeria said. “He’s very friendly.”
The owner smiled and took the dog. Valeria finished her lunch feeling calm and happy about the little visit.
