“Está bien, esto será mi desayuno,” dijo.
Tomó el yogurt y la manzana y se sentó un minuto en la mesa. Mientras comía, su hermano entró a la cocina. “¿No tienes más tiempo hoy?” preguntó.
“No, me quedé dormida,” respondió ella.
Su hermano abrió un paquete de galletas y le dio dos. “Toma, para el camino.”
Camila sonrió. “Gracias. Me ayudarán mucho.”
Salió de casa apurada, pero con un desayuno sencillo y un gesto amable que le mejoró la mañana.
“Okay, this will be my breakfast,” she said.
She took the yogurt and the apple and sat at the table for a minute. While she was eating, her brother came into the kitchen. “No extra time today?” he asked.
“No, I overslept,” she replied.
Her brother opened a pack of cookies and gave her two. “Here, for the road.”
Camila smiled. “Thanks. They will help a lot.”
She left home in a hurry, but with a simple breakfast and a kind gesture that made her morning better.
