El Café Frío

Luis preparó su café por la mañana y se sentó a leer el periódico. Pero se distrajo con una noticia interesante y olvidó su bebida.

Cuando volvió a la cocina, el café estaba frío. “¡Oh no! Justo quería beberlo caliente,” dijo.

Decidió calentar el café en el microondas y se lo tomó despacio. Mientras bebía, pensó: “La próxima vez, debo prestar más atención.”

Aunque estaba frío al principio, disfrutó su café y su lectura tranquila.

The Cold Coffee

Luis made his coffee in the morning and sat down to read the newspaper. But he got distracted by an interesting news story and forgot his drink.

When he went back to the kitchen, the coffee was cold. “Oh no! I wanted to drink it hot,” he said.

He decided to heat the coffee in the microwave and drank it slowly. While drinking, he thought, “Next time, I must pay more attention.”

Even though it was cold at first, he enjoyed his coffee and his quiet reading.
