Un martes, llegó a la tienda y vio una cola muy larga. Miró el reloj y se preocupó. “Voy a llegar tarde,” pensó.
Cuando fue su turno, el vendedor dijo: “Hoy la máquina de jugo es lenta. Lo siento.”
Carla respiró hondo. “Está bien. Puedo esperar un poco.”
El vendedor preparó el jugo y dijo: “Gracias por tu paciencia.” Luego añadió una pequeña galleta. “Es gratis.”
Carla sonrió. Caminó a la oficina con su jugo y su galleta, feliz por el pequeño gesto amable.
One Tuesday, she arrived at the shop and saw a very long line. She looked at the clock and felt worried. “I’m going to be late,” she thought.
When it was her turn, the seller said, “The juice machine is slow today. I’m sorry.”
Carla took a deep breath. “It’s okay. I can wait a little.”
The seller made the juice and said, “Thank you for your patience.” Then he added a small cookie. “It’s free.”
Carla smiled. She walked to the office with her juice and cookie, happy about the small kind gesture.
