El Teléfono Olvidado

Sofía estaba en el autobús cuando se dio cuenta de que no tenía su teléfono. “¡Ay no!” pensó. “Lo dejé en la cafetería.”

Se bajó en la siguiente parada y caminó rápido hacia atrás. Cuando llegó a la cafetería, vio su teléfono en una mesa.

El camarero lo sostenía. “¿Es tuyo?” preguntó.

“¡Sí, gracias!” dijo Sofía, muy aliviada.

“Lo encontré después de que saliste,” dijo el camarero. “Pensé que volverías.”

Sofía compró un té para agradecerle. Salió de la cafetería feliz y un poco más tranquila. Intentaría no olvidar su teléfono otra vez.

The Forgotten Phone

Sofia was on the bus when she realized she didn’t have her phone. “Oh no!” she thought. “I left it in the café.”

She got off at the next stop and walked back quickly. When she arrived at the café, she saw her phone on a table.

The waiter was holding it. “Is this yours?” he asked.

“Yes, thank you!” Sofia said, very relieved.

“I found it after you left,” the waiter said. “I thought you would come back.”

Sofia bought a tea to thank him. She left the café happy and a little calmer. She would try not to forget her phone again.
